I only wish that Madeleine were closer to home for me. But that doesn’t stop me from driving there as much as possible. You can tell that they take detailed pride in their pastries and other food items. Definitely the best croissant that I have had in the US. I can’t wait for my next visit!
Absolutely fantastic. I love their pastries, and I love the simplicity to them- you dont grt overwhelmed with options and everything that have is beautiful- beautiful taste, beautiful look. This may be the best croissant I’ve ever had, especially in Pittsburgh!! Very fast service and friendly employees, plus delicious pastries. The pumpkin loaf wasn’t too sweet, it felt like a perfect fall treat!
My boy did not finish his bee sting and we saw a child faceplant out front. Pretty tasty overall and yum pastries to start the day.
A very solid and cute little local bakery. It's comfy, cozy and homey. Note, that there is no real inside to sit at and very limited outside seating. The place is essentially just a door and a counter where you can pay at. I actually don't really get pastries so I mostly come for the sandwiches. I wish they made them earlier in the day and they are on the smaller side for the price. I believe the last time I was told they only start making them after 12:00 PM.
