Jill is very thorough and takes time to explain what she is seeing during routine skin checks and makes certain that her patients have a solid understanding of her findings and treatment plan.
During an annual skin check Jill found a barely perceptible spot on my skin and it turned out to be a basal-cell carcinoma. She was extremely thorough with the skin check. I have had skin checks with 2 other dermatologists and neither of them spent as much time checking every inch of my skin the way Jill did. I found her to be very knowledgeable and she answered all of my questions. Highly recommend making an appointment with her for an annual skin check or if you have any concerns!
I saw Jill for almost a year. Some visits she seemed engaged, other visits she was yawning and rude. At one visit she snapped at me for asking a question about a skin condition that I was concerned that I had. I had a breakout or rash on my face that she couldn’t figure out the correct treatment. I finally decided to go to another dermatologist and this new dermatologist has fixed my skin in 3 weeks! I just don’t think Jill quite knew how to treat my skin problems. I won’t be seeing her again.
Jill has treated my whole family. She has shown excellent knowledge and is up on the most recent research thanks in part to her ongoing studies. When our last dermatologist was not effectively treating my daughter’s Skin condition we switched to Jill. Jill also gives very thorough skin cancer checks, unlike two previous docs I saw. She also goes the extra mile to help us get the best rate on our prescriptions, which is very appreciated.
She is not knowledgeable. She saw my son for ringworm on his scalp when she used to be at the South Bend Clinic. She told me to use OTC athlete's foot cream twice a day for 2 weeks. One day, I happened to be reading the tube and saw that it is effective on scalping ringworm. The pharmacist also confirmed that there is no OTC treatment for scalp ringworm. I honestly don't know where some of these people get their credentials from.
Jill is awesome! She makes you feel at ease during your exam. Full body skin checks can be extremely intimidating but she makes sure you are comfortable the entire time. Jill is very thorough and makes sure all concerns are addressed during your visit. Very pleased with the care I received!
Saw her for a dermatology concern. She is very rude. won't ever see her again.
