Our heat stopped working the night of 12/8/25 (when temps got to around 15 degrees outside). I called the Maddox 24/7 line at 5am on 12/9/25 and asked if someone could be sent out as an emergency since we have a 1 year old child. The dispatcher seemed irritated that she would be sending the emergency request out but we were never contacted back. I ended up calling another HVAC company who came promptly same day. Update 11/12/25 - Apparently Maddox transitioned their residential services to Davis Heating and cooling. Maddox did not inform this customer so when I called Maddox they forwarded my call to 'residential'. They didn't even explain at that point Davis was taking over residential. The transfer rang and I heard "Davis" very much to my surpise. It was then that Davis explained to me they were a 'sister' company. Woke up to my AC not working on Sunday morning, so I called Maddox and they came out very promptly, even on a weekend. The gentleman who came out was prompt and polite. He had everything on the truck that was needed to get the unit back up and running. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend giving them a call
