House of Wax Yes Virginia there is a was museum and it's not all that. The exhibits are boring and it's way too short. Plus the admission price is ridiculous. It's over $25 just to see famous people in wax figures! Stick with taking your picture with the wax figure of Samuel L. Jackson that's standing outside. It's free and it will give you a good laugh.

As real as can be The wax figures here are so lifelike. People would wait for the wax tourist to finish taking a picture before realizing that it is wax. The best part about this museum is that you can go right up to the wa figures and touch them or pose with them. Make sure you bring your camera. You want to get your pictue with the wax figures. There are some new interactive wax figures that can blush (J Lo) or roll their eyes (Simon Cowell). The only drawback here is the price (about $30 for adults). However, you can get ... read more

Good for a one time visit. Tons of pop culture icons. A pretty interesting collection of wax figures that you can just gawk at and take pictures with. I wouldn't go again. The Hulk wax statue is pretty interesting. A little pricey however (over 20 bucks a person). Visit once in your lifetime at least.

Genuinely enjoyable Although admission price is high, (at least that cuts down on the crowds!) it is worth it to see and take pictures of this spectacle of wax celebrities. Where else can you shakes hands with the likes of Oprah and Brad Pitt? Amusing for adults and thrilling for teenagers, it is fun for the whole family. Great photo ops. Watch out for the weird movie they show at the end. PROS: Unique, fun for whole family CONS: Pricey

The place for pictures You can go right up to the wax figures and take pictures with them. There are no barriers around these figures and interaction is encouraged. I went with a few friends and spent half a day there taking crazy pictures. The wax figures are very life like. The only drawback is that it costs about $30 to go. If you can't afford to go inside they have a couple wax figures in the lobby that you can take pictures with for free PROS: Photo Ops CONS: Expensive

Wow'd by Wax I have never been to another wax museum, but this one had tons of people. All types of famous people, musicians, sports stars, and even Simon from American Idol. That was a great feature, a karoake session set up in front of Simon. I thought it was a bit pricey while paying for admission, but afterwards it was worth it. Check this place out!

Touristy but nice Madame Tussaud's is a great experience that is costly but wonderful. A museum full of amazing was figures that you are allowed to touch and model yourself in fun pictures and poses. The museum is amazingly maintained but can have significant lines because it is a very touristy attaction. Overall, this is something everyone should do once as toursits should not have all the fun

Stiff Celebrities I'm still not sure who came up with the bright idea to have wax figures of celebrities and put them in a museum, but I wish they hadn't. It's just silly. It's even sillier seeing people taking pictures with these wax figures. I would much rather walk around NYC and enjoy the sites than to look at a bunch of wax stars. The admission price is highway robbery. Don't waste your time here - go to a real museum like the Museum of Natural History on the upper west side - that will be money well spent.

Incredible and must go We had so much fun. The figures are amazing and so lifelike. We ended the entire tour with karaoke. With 23 high schoolers and 3 chaparones, it couldn't have been more fun!
