I thought I had to get new fuel injectors on my 1996 7.3 diesel. My truck kept cutting out even while going 60 mph! Mikel said the Ford injectors were about $325 each. Do the math and I am looking at $3 k!!!! After he diagnosed, he found that I had a $50 camshaft sensor gone bad. He fixed it and I went on my 1350 mi trip without a glitch! Better mpg at 18 and the transmission shifted so much smoother. He is such a young gentleman and one hell-of- a diesel mechanic.
This guy is a great mechanic. He is honest. He fair. He is educated. He is my go to guy. He takes his time but it's to make sure it's done right. If u have a diesel he will do it for thousands and I mean thousands less than any body I could find. He is the real deal.
I bought a 05 powerstroke that had a no crank, I got it to crank but the truck had been sitting over a year and I couldn’t get it to start. So I brought it too Mikael at Mad Performance, he had the truck running with in 30 minutes! He then proceeded to check out many other things on the truck to make sure it was all healthy, he spent like another hour checking some sensors/valves, and a bunch of values on the scanner.
