I love this shop!! Maureen and her staff are knowledgable, friendly, amd just plain fantastic! It’s a really warm, welcoming, safe atmosphere. Best tea shop I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to hundreds in 5 countries. High quality teas, large selection.

The gem of Tacoma — made my work journey more bearable. Tobin Tobin runs an inviting, sweet oasis in the concrete jungle, and the selection is outstanding. Can’t wait for Mad Hat to reach Bellingham!
This was by far, the best Tea shop I have ever visited. The owner, the service and the blends are phenomenal. I was visiting from Missouri and had the day free. After an amazing cup of tea in a very peaceful atmosphere, I was directed up the street to some fantastic antique and vintage stores. I spent all day in those stores exploring. I had the best day in a very long time and met some amazing people along the way. Mad Hat will be my go-to for ordering tea. Currently, I am enjoying The Earl of Lapsang.
