My husband's birthday request was having breakfast at the Mad Batter. So we packed our three year old up, and drove 2.5 hours south for him to have breakfast here. As always, it was amazing. The waitress recommended the fruit bread for our daughter, as they only had pecan muffins on hand, and she absolutely loved it. And if our daughter ever asks, it's a flat muffin 😉 . We have been coming here for years, and not disappointed. Even with the front porch being under construction, our visit was still comfortable and charming. ... read more
