Macs Coins used to be a great place. I went there when I was a kid and old Mac used to hand out wheat cents to me & other kids as change. There was another guy that took over the business afterwards (Dale). Dale was a cool guy too. Dale was really cool to talk to and friendly. Dale was always upfront and had good stories to tell.However due to issues with Dales health and Mac not around to run the business, another guy (Dallas) took over. It was the worst experience I had in a coin shop. Mac was not only condensending but didnt every crack a smile the whole time I was asking him questions. He acted like he couldnt get rid of me fast enough. Never going back there, I would rather give my money to any other store.

This is the only professional, fair and kind coin establishment in this area. I believe we dealt with Dale. We knew nothing about the value of coins. He took time to help us and was extremely fair in his pricing.We had a terrible experience with the unprofessional owner at the San Jose coin shop. The counter help at the coin shop off of De Anza Blvd in San Jose were different. Great people! Great Service! A++++++++++++++++ Customer Service Pay more then any of the other stores do. Best part about them. They are Honest and straight up. Keep up the good work! Best thing to do is go in yourself and see what you think.
