Doug was my barber for 8 years. For 8 years, he alone took care of my hair. He knows what you want and how to do it, is confident in how he goes about his work, and has fun while doing it! He talks with people, asks about their lives, and is genuinely interested. We recently moved out of the area, and it has been a struggle finding a new barber. I don't know if I'll be able to find someone quite like him, but I will do my best to try. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a barber who sincerely knows what he's doing. ... read more
Mac's barber shop is the BEST barber shop in Tennessee, and I do not say that lightly. Doug cut my hair for over eight years in a row, and never once did I ever walk out of that store disatisfied with how the top of my head looked (the only reason he doesn't cut my hair now is because I moved about two hours away--- but make no mistake, I still take trips to Karns frequently just to get my hair cut by him (no joke!!)).
