History: In 1954, Robert graduated from high school and chose to stay on the farm to help his dad. Together they began planting apples and peaches on 15 more acres of ground. They also built an 8000 bushel cold storage to help preserve the quality and freshness of the fruit harvested and sold on the farm and to wholesale outlets. Great overall, amazing apple cider and great selection of donuts.
I grew up just down the road from MacQueen’s and I’ve always loved their cider and apple fritters. I haven’t had either in probably at least 10-15 years, but while I was in town visiting family I took my wife and kids for a little trip down memory lane. Still just as good as ever! Hands down the best cider and fritters anywhere!
A great place to take students on a field trip! The students had a great time and learned a great deal!
