I've been going to Macleay inn for many many years. And knew employee that had worked there for years also, but a while back I had sent a friend out there to have a great steak dinner and when he returned he told me it was the worst meal I've ever had... Anyway come to find out the restaurant had changed ownership or management and it's kind of went downhill now I hear lots of complaints about the food. Same owners and same management since 1976. Nothing has changed!
We eat there at least once a week. Everyone is so nice everyone helps you and makes sure you have everything you need. I'm a picky eater and my food is always the way I ask for it. They bend over backwards to make everything right. Monday's are bingo night so be prepared if you don't go early.
