Macks Group evaluated and diagnosed my child in the Fall 2023. They explained the cost upfront and told me they would provide an invoice to submit to my insurance following payment. I paid $1200 and the "invoice" I received only had a diagnosis code; no testing/eval codes. To get an actual invoice receipt that I could send to my insurance, it took another month and the head doctor. My insurance declined any coverage because the diagnostic code was "inappropriate." I have loved using Macks Psychology group over the years but I am a little annoyed now. Was told they don't bill for dyslexia because most insurance companies won't cover it. They know what insurance I have and said I could just submit after and see if they cover it. Come to find out today when talking to my insurance to get it all settled since the provider gave me the codes that the provider doesn't take my insurance which I was never told.
