First timer eating there and loved it
First time eating here . Food was hot and delicious. Will be back
Service was good. Everything was fried except the crawfish and some steamed shrimp. Most of the sides are frozen or out of a bag. Macaroni was watery and out of a bag. The mashed potatoes and gravy Stuffed crab was bland. Rolls were bland. The frog legs were good. My son said the tenders were good. My other son said the steak was just okay. It cost way too much for what was we got. Maybe I’m too harsh of a critic, coming from New Orleans but I won’t be returning. Applebees would have been cheaper and the same quality. Delicious food, great service, casual atmosphere! Macks on the River is always a favorite. I recommend the ribeye! It’s delicious!!!
Hush puppies were plain cornmeal. Fish no taste and shrimp were small and didn’t have much taste! For $76 I expected it to be good and good size shrimp but boy were we disappointed!
