I am very grateful for all the people I've dealt with here! I recently had a rough day with my newborn & they got me into a room immediately, helped me with my baby & Dr. Alto was amazing at listening to me, empathizing & reassuring me as a mama. My daughters will go here as long as we're living in the area!
I can not recommended Mackinac Trail Peds enough!!! I LOVE Dr Joe! He's so kind and my kids love all the providers there💗
My son is quite smitten with Dr. Alto and basically in love with Dr. Trucks. They both do an amazing job with my busy toddler! The nursing staff is beyond wonderful! We've been regular patients for both of my children and I'm so grateful for the whole staff! Thank you!
Refusing to see my son for his important follow up after a long hospital stay because while we were hospitalized we missed an appointment. While having an emergency ones first thought isn’t usually to cancel an appt. I’m thoroughly disgusted that they don’t care about my child’s wellbeing at all. There are massive waiting lists for every other doctor even remotely close to here so now my son who needs a doctor NOW has to wait months because they are heartless.

Dr. Joe is amazing. Have had issues with one of the other providers there as she felt the need to lecture me on my daughter needing to lose weight even though her bmi is well within healthy range. My 5 year old was refusing dinner because her doctor Told her it would make her tummy fat to eat too much.
Absolutely love the doctors here! Doctor Joe is amazing and I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else! I followed doctor Joe from great lakes to Mac Trail! My only issue is there never seems to be available appointments when kids are sick. You have to wait some times 2-3 days before your able to get in and sometimes kids need to be seen now. I guess that just means everyone wants to go there because they are so great!
