Pasties were bland and the mac n cheese had too much butter
Not nearly as good as the food we were used to from northern WI. The crust & gravy seemed store-bought and not homemade. Twice the price and not half as good as Joe's Pasty Shop in Rhinelander, WI. Sorry to say we were disappointed.
They are the best in Michigan, hands down!!! I should know, I have tried them all and my parents had a Pastie business! You can't beat the taste, texture and price! The owners are gracious, the shops are clean and they have Pasties frozen to stock your own freezer and enjoy anytime! I love the veggie Pastie with its 4 cheeses- great to have choices if you are looking for Vegetarian fare.
