My first introduction to a pastie and I loved it. Very friendly staff who taught me the history behind the pastie. Delicious food. Cozy restaurant with a warm fire. I'll be back!
I had the pleasure of enjoying their pastie meal yesterday for breakfast, yes breakfast folks, and my body ached with delight....we also took home a half dozen to enjoy on those cold and snowy days downstate here, albeit, nothing like our yooper friends have to endure....I know I'll be visiting this establishment many more times as I pass through to the U.P.....God willing.
It was yummy, though the gravy seemed a bit bland. I ate all the coleslaw and that's saying something for me. � We will be back in July. But it had inspired me to try and make my own.
