Absoluetly AMAZING~Thanks to Chef Toby!!!! – This restaurant is a little hard to find but that is part of the wonderful adventure. My girlfriends and I ate lunch there last week and had the best food that can be found in this city. They have a new chef and their committment to fresh fish daily peaked all of our appetites. We were not disappointed. The food was incredible and the service was equally as great. We would highly recommend this restaurant. We have reservations for next week for our monthly dinner.

great food; great service – My dining experiences at Macke's, several lunches and a dinner, have all been very enjoyable. The service each time has been prompt with a friendly wait staff. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food is excellent. I ordered the special a few saturday nights back, a scallop dish, that was the best I think I've ever eaten. Great Lunches – We have eaten here a half dozen times in two months & the experience has always been the same. Great service, Great food, Great ambiance and Great value for the money. This is Nashville's best kept secret.
Not worth the wait. – I had high expectations for this restaurant after hearing a good review from a friend. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed by the food, the service, and the overall value. The service was probably the worst part of the experience. We had to wait almost thirty minutes to get our meals, and then another 30 minutes after we were finished before we finally got our checks. Worth the search - absolutely wonderful food – We continued our tour of nice eating establishments on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 with Macke's (I can't pronounce it either). I had heard the place was well hidden in the back of graces plaza in green hills so expected the search. excellent execution, unusual presentation and down right tasty stuff – We arrived early with a reservation and were the second table filled. The food is very high quality, kinda fancy dress attire. Ambience is OK, but the wait staff was very solicitous.
