Last Wednesday I found myself need emergency bowel surgery. I live in West Jordan but was in Bountiful at that time. My son rushed me to Lakeview Hospital. I was in intense pain and after being told that I need immediate surgery, I was prepped and moved into the pre op area. Dr Goodwin came and told us what was happening and what needed to be done she help comfort me and her positivity was so reassuring. She preformed my surgery and repaired the damage to my bowel. Mackenzie has a very high medical skill set. She is extremely warm and caring person. It's very obvious that she enjoys this profession. I have always been easily satisfied with the very best! She is the best!
I have worked with Mackenzie Goodwin as her Assistant for years. She is always super communicative to patients and staff. I see few providers that care about their patients like Dr. Goodwin cares about hers. If I needed surgery I would want her to do it.
Dr Goodwin did my emergency surgery last year to remove 2 feet of my colon. She's an amazing Dr. It's A HUGE LOSS TO COMMON SPIRIT TO LOOSE AN AMAZING SURGEON Thank God she is opening up an office somewhere else. Her staff was also amazing. However the hospitals traveling nurses need to go "HORRIBLE"
