I want to start by saying that the medical care from the pediatric cardiologist is top-notch. The doctor is excellent, and the MA we interacted with was so warm and helpful. However, parents/caregivers should be warned about the ultrasound tech (an older lady with a southern accent). She was shockingly rude and dismissive during our scan. Working in pediatrics requires compassion, and she showed absolutely none. I have been taking my daughter to see Dr Macias for over 25years, and he has always been so caring, gentle, funny, and extremely knowledgeable with her condition. He was the DR. who helped me get my daughter diagnosed with Turner's by noticing some common traits of Turner's in her. No one else had ever noticed or said anything to me about Turner's. I am forever grateful to him for all of his genuine care, and heart expertise!!

I've been seeing Dr. Macias for years because of losing most of my immediate family to both aorta issues and Marfans. He takes time to listen to my concerns and discusses options given insurance issues. I feel like I'm seeing both a doctor and a friend. His staff is also caring and friendly. I feel like more than just another patient. Thanks.

He recognized my daughter very well for to be the first time, really good advices. He pay attention to all my questions as a mother. Thank you Doctor Macias for take care of my daughter...
