This company collected a garnishment and will not cease collection on the garnishment after it was paid in full, now going on week two of collection illegally. They refuse to send a release of the garnishment to my employer and willfully not respond on the telephone with an honest answer as to why they refuse to stop garnishment. They also are based out of 4209 Montgomery NE, in Albq., NM, they then say I cannot contact them here, only in Denver. Elizabeth B. *********** *** ******

This is a negative review. The debt collector part of this law firm is unorganized and refuses to take fault for actions they do. I have been charged twice for monthly payments more then once after I make the payment and I get no action or help from Gary. The head guy. I have endured bounced check fees that they refuse to take care of because of their irresponsible people. They authorize charges for the wrong amounts after a payment has been made. If i could pay of my bill faster I would to stop dealing with these problems. ... read more

Had a bill from my ex wife I was paying on the last 5 years . Got it down low enough to make a settlement offer and did which was excepted. I made my final settlement way before deadline for settlement. 2 months later they are back in Superior court for the same issue that I resolved issuing me a bill for the remaining amount that was agreed to be waived in the settlement. I think this company is a joke. I call the number provided from another company and all I get is ringing after you enter the information they want. I don't get a live person to talk to. What kind of business does this to people. I have been trying all morning to try to talk to someone.

If you want to see the definition of company that's extremely difficult to get in contact with and deal with this is the one. I've been calling several times over the last 8 days and It's been the same result. Either nobody picks up, I wont get transferred or they don't return the messages. I have never dealt with any business that ducks and dodges customers like this...

The representatives of this company are purposefully disingenuous when discussing a case. In trying to resolve an incorrect collections notice they were impossible to contact, did not regularly respond to calls or messages, and purposefully misleading with legal information when attempting to settle the case. All mailings were sent weeks or months late, and made it next to impossible to file appropriate paperwork with the residing court on time. i had an account go to collections with Machols and Johannes- i believe in my debts which i did with the law firm. This was 3 years ago. My wife and i went to get a Heloc on our house recently and they had never removed the lien on our property even though we have a satisfaction of judgement, I even have a letter dated June 17, 2014- that's states they will file with clerk and recorder to release the lien. This company is horribly unprofessional and STOLE money from my bank account. They have a judgement and garnishment order against my father of the same first and last name, yet they drained my bank account. When I called, they asked my social security number to verify my identity, and upon realizing the number didn't match the one they had, they refused to even speak to me.
