About this business
The first Macado’s restaurant was opened in 1978 by Richard Macher in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. It soon became popular for its eclectic ambiance of cartoon, antique, and local nostalgic decor, as well as its wide array of hearty yet modestly-priced sandwiches, subs, and entrees. Great selection of sandwiches. Classic establishment in Blacksburg with good food at a great price.
Macadoo club is great
Has a nice atmosphere, took forever to get our food though and the water tastes off.
It’s a really awesome space, they have a couple vegetarian options that you can ask to come without cheese if you are vegan.
Go for the McDuffy a really good choice if you looking for a chicken sandwich
Babe Ruth (turkey, bacon, provolone, and tomato on a warm croissant). Mmmm...also, good macaroni and cheese, chicken wings, and lots of great specials throughout the week.
I was disappointed with the French Onion soup. The Brooklyn Bridge was right on.
Fish tacos are great!
