The first Macado’s restaurant was opened in 1978 by Richard Macher in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. It soon became popular for its eclectic ambiance of cartoon, antique, and local nostalgic decor, as well as its wide array of hearty yet modestly-priced sandwiches, subs, and entrees. Gonna keep it short and sweet. Ordered pickup from Doordash, two burgers and shrimp. Showed up 15 minutes later to them saying it would be a bit longer. Proceeded to wait another 35 minutes until I finally got my food that was barely warm. This place has decent food but I had multiple people and no one checked in at all the entire time I stood in there. Start making the food before someone shows up. Great wings. Good service, but the waitress was overworked. Could've had more servers, but our server was extremely friendly!
So my complaint is not as a paying customer my complaint is as a door Dasher I went to pick up a doordash order and I was told that the order had been taken by somebody else I called the customer they were fine with the order being remade however what I explained to the store that the doordasher that was supposed to pick it up is supposed to be able to visually show you a screen with the order number and the name on it the response that I got was oh well we just put it up in the front on the rack for people to grab.
