A family member was put at ease by Dr MacRae and her staff, pre and post surgery. The outcome was excellent, and she was able to more fully engage in an athletic activity this summer that she loves, in comfort and ease, and gained confidence in herself as well.
Dr. MacRae is amazing. I had such a great experience with my surgery and I was honestly terrified to get surgery. The recovery was easier and faster than I thought was possible and my results are amazing. Dr. MacRae is professional and caring, I highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. MacRae and the entire team. From my first consultation through my procedure and follow up appointments, everyone was professional, caring, and attentive. I wanted to wait until I was able to successfully find a surgeon and get my procedure before writing this review. I was luckily able to find a surgeon, but that was never going to be Julia Mac Rae. Gender affirming surgery is supposed to be about you getting the last piece(s) before you feel like yourself. There is plenty of old fatphobic rhetoric in the medical field (that has been disproven) stating that there are “more complications” getting a surgery while fat.
