Great Place for Private Dinner I went to a rehearsal dinner in the banquet room at MacGregor's and had a wonderful experience. First, the room is lovely (with a great view) and the food was excellent. The service was very good and we were well taken care of. I would recommend for any sort of private affair.

overpriced and overcooked Every time we have been to MacGregors, the food has been overcooked and of course, their prices are quite high. We went once on our own and once for a company event, once for a wedding rehearsal dinner. I don't think we would have gone back on our own before we moved had it been just y husband and myself. The servers are always pretty short with you when there's a problem instead of trying to be courteous and fix it.

This restaurant is the best in Harford County. My go to place for life's little moments. The food is first class in the main restaurant. I can not speak of the tavern side because it is so different from the casual gourmet of the main restaurant that it is just not my style. In the main restaurant, you can take in a view of the Susquehanna river, as all tables can look through the glass wall upon the water. You can also sit outside, but I have noticed bugs outside on the tables, so stick to inside if you are having a nice di... read more

Poor service food and drinks This was a lousy experience from an OK restaurant. I've been here many times and everything was usually OK (not great, but OK). Last time was a few weeks ago. We sat outside. The drink was watered down, the silverware was dirty, service ws very slow and the food was bland.

what a view MacGregors is a great place to come for Sunday brunch or a Friday Happy Hour. You can sit outside and overlook the Bay while listening to great local live music and hanging out with your friends and family. The food is also great. The seafood is shipped in fresh daily and the chef likes to prepare unique specials. Get there early if you want to watch the sunset over the water...
