My laptop screen was cracked but was still fully functional so I brought it in. Once they gave back my laptop, the screen was fixed but the motherboard was damaged and my laptop is unusable. 700 bucks to repair the screen down the drain.
I drive almost an hour to go to Mac Business Solutions because I trust that they will take care of the issue and be honest with the repairs needed. Recently, I brought in a laptop that was completely dead, but I need information from the hard drive. The team was great in letting me know it might not be possible, but they would try. They were able to access the hard drive and try the 20+ passwords we needed to unlock the data to transfer it. Horrible Mac experience. 1 day my Mac ran out of battery and would not charge. Brought it in to this Mac business to fix. Never thought I would lose all my data because of some problem with the IO port and the disk was integrated. End result was loss of 3 months of work and cost was $750. The integrated board had to be sent in as an exchange. If I wanted it for a possible data recovery it would have cost much more than the Mac’s worth. I am having issues with my 2020 IMac 27 5K computer driving Adobe Lightroom Classic. While using LRC and editing with mask the computer starts freezing up. After several calls to Apple and Adobe I find my GPU needed updated. So I do more research trying to understand what type eGPU would help with performance issues. I’ve reached out to one company and attempted to call them. They stated that I needed to email them with questions. Really ! And how many emails would it take and how long to find a solution.
