Looks unassuming outside but actually very nice inside. Did a hair color and haircut and price was reasonable. Cantonese/ toishanese/ mandarin speaking is a plus. Michael really knows hair and he gave great tips on how to style.

The hairstylist designs the most suitable hairstyle based on each client’s individual features and needs. For the past eight years, I’ve always had Michael design my hair. During the pandemic, when he wasn’t working, I tried a few other stylists, but none of them achieved satisfying results.

Best place to get a haircut 100%. Ming does a fantastic job, and is an expert. M2 Salon is very professional, and I never felt unsatisfied. The price is good compared to other salons. Overall, this is the best Salon in the San Leandro, you won’t be disappointed.

I had such a great experience with the boss Michael! I had an appointment to dye my hair. He is incredibly detailed and attentive, always checking in during the process to make sure the color was applied precisely. My roots grew out and I wanted an ashy toned dark brown. He had to mix the coloring at different times so he can apply to each section of my hair (roots vs previously dyed sections) to even out the color.
