Recommended2.5 Stars. I recently moved to Columbia and was looking for good sushi. I was not wowed by the Nagasaki roll and did not like the Mojito roll.
M Vista has the best Asian food in Columbia, no question. Personal favorites are Mongolian beef, hot chili shrimp, yellowtail jalapeno, and rock shrimp tempura. The quality is always excellent. Locally owned by a wonderful Asian-American family that has made Columbia home, provided hundreds of people with jobs, and served thousands of happy customers.

I’m a diehard vegan and M Vista ALWAYS has many, super delicious options for me. Most restaurants will throw together something for me but it’s generally substandard, boring and makes me feel like they really don’t care if they have my business. M Vista’s many options make me feel that I’m just as valuable as a carnivore. And with veganism becoming the fastest growing dietary group, that’s just good business. This is one of the Midlands’ very best restaurants. The food is always fresh and tasty. There is a huge variety from sushi, to wok, to steamed choices. I also appreciate that is is locally-owned and woman-owned. Owners are actively involved in making our community better. I highly recommend.
My go to for lunch and dinner when anyone visits always excellent food and broad menu for any taste - Owner always making sure all are well and standards are maintained - wonderful
