I would strongly caution anyone considering building or buying with M/I Homes. The company we thought we were dealing with during the sales process is not the company we experienced after closing. Before you sign, everyone is responsive, helpful, and full of promises. After closing, those promises seem to disappear along with the urgency to address legitimate concerns. We have been very happy with our experience this far! Set to close in July! Everyone has been very pleasant. They're good at explaining things along the way and answering all questions and concerns. The loan officer made the financing process surprisingly easy and has been very available during the process. Carrie with the design center is very experienced, so knowledgeable and helped us when hiccups have arisen- explaining the why behind the reasoning.
