MI Homes does it right - communication and customer service are the best we've experienced when building a new home. We recommend MI over other local builders we have also built with in the past. We love our neighborhood, our area and especially our new home!
We've built twice with MI - first time was amazing, built again in 2025 and I would not recommend. Home efficiency is still great; however, we've had multiple issues including interior gas leak (plumbing done incorrectly), basement flooded in MANY homes including ours due to incorrect construction, architecture NOT updated after customer issues impacting future builds (Monroe build plan doesn't meet code for dryer vent, garage floorplan literally too small to fit std SUV, concrete distance from garage under min), and no virt... read more
Love my new townhome. The manager, Alfredo, has been amazing!!! MI Homes are blessed to have him! The entire process, everyone that worked with me, they were great!
Overall, our experience with M/I Homes was very positive. The company demonstrated a strong commitment to customer satisfaction throughout the building process. I would strongly caution anyone considering building or buying with M/I Homes. The company we thought we were dealing with during the sales process is not the company we experienced after closing. Before you sign, everyone is responsive, helpful, and full of promises. After closing, those promises seem to disappear along with the urgency to address legitimate concerns.
