The ONLY reason I can give this 4 stars is due to the project manager Eddie. We closed in February of this year. Eddie was impeccable during the building process and even after closing. Any issues we have we reach out and they get addressed. He is very respectful and always shows the most professionalism I’ve seen from M/I. The lending process with Mike was a joke. Our experience with this builder has been extremely disappointing. Ongoing communication issues with their lender resulted in the termination of our contract, and since the end of January, we have yet to receive our termination documents or our earnest money deposit back. No one has been able to give us a clear answer on when to expect either, despite repeated follow-ups. The lack of transparency and responsiveness is unacceptable.
