Kept informed every step. Great result. Wonderful support team. First post surgery meeting we had 26 questions and he took all the time needed to answer each one. Never rushed. Easy peasy.
I broke my clavicle during a triathlon July 2023 in a bike crash. The PC ED referred me to Dr. Hatch. This was my first surgery and as a very active person I was nervous about my recovery and my accident hindering my future activity. I have had a series of mishaps or better to say accidents, the first being a broken hip and a broken shoulder. The hip was replaced and the shoulder was isolated to heal by itself. I followed all of the restrictions for my new hip but somehow managed to dislocate it and fortunately Dr. Hatch took care of it under sedation in an operatory due to my health conditions. A lot of doctors just treat you like a patient, Dr. Hatch treated me like a person who had questions and concerns. The surgery must have been a success, my shoulder is wonderful. Back to as good as new.
He listens and explains - both what to expect in the near term and long term. I’ve never felt like he was in a rush while he’s with me. Always touches on the personal, in addition to the medical.

broke my shoulder in a mountain bike accident in Park City in July of 2023. I was referred to Dr Hatch by Dr Leavitt at the IHC instacare Park City. Dr Leavitt made it clear that Dr Hatch is one of a couple great shoulder surgeons. Obviously, he is respected by his own peers. Dr Hatch was supposed to be leaving on vacation that next week.
