Dr. Sverkunova has been taking care of my two children (11&6 y.o.) since their birth. She is caring and knowledgeable. She is always cautious about antibiotic use and will never order unless absolutely necessary. She is not afraid to seek second opinion about medical conditions she is not sure about. It only happened about 2-3 times during our experience with her but gave me peace of mind that the right thing was done for my children. Her staff is nice and courteous.
She is amazing doctor, very knowable, smart and careful with medications! Both of my kids seeing her a years, they really love her and we happy that we have such a good doctor in Brooklyn. She is the best!!!
Used to be good place to bring my kids. But now it's sort of a disaster. Does not like taking in walk-ins. When she is away (vacation, sick, or at other locations), her substitutes are horrible and talk down to parents. Prescriptions do not get sent to pharmarcy, even after follow up calls. Staff is friendly though. Long wait times.
Dr. Sverkunova is the very best. She cares for every patient and is very careful. She always tells you what to watch out for and when to be concerned. She is kind and one of the best pediatricians in nyc. We trust her very much.
I would not recommend her. Brought my son to her office, she said everything is ok and to follow up with her in 2 weeks. He was hospitalized next day with diarrhea and almost died. May be we catch virus in her office.
She's been my daughter's pediatrician for the past 10 years. She is amazing and super smart. No matter how long its been between appointments she pick up the conversation right where we left off. She remembers EVERYTHING that's going on and she genuinely cares about my daughter. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a pediatrician in a heartbeat.

Waiting time is very long considering all the screaming children in the waiting room . If I make an appointment at a certain time I would like to wait less than over an hour. The doctor ran to conclusions and gave out a diagnosis without confirmation of any results. I was scared for over a week untill the tests came back, which did not confirm her "diagnosis " . Horrible experience.
If you are looking for someone realy professional, so she is the best for you. We are going to her office over 5 years with our son and now with our daughter
