Best dentist experience I've ever had. I went in for an extraction last week and received very welcoming reception by DR. Lyu and his staff. I was a bit nervous about the procedure but he made me feel at ease and best of all I didn't feel any pain at all afterwards with very little bleeding and no swelling. He is very skillful and cares about his patients. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
I sadly had to have a back molar removed because it had broken. Dr Lyu did a wonderful job. The procedure took about 30 minutes. I barely felt a thing, including having the shot to numb everything. Both he and his assistant, Dennis, have a wonderful bedside manner. I was very nervous going in but I felt immediately comfortable by their manner. Dr. Lyu was recommended by my dentist for a simple extraction of the root of a tooth (the actual tooth was gone), There were no stitches, the entire procedure took exactly 10 minutes from start to finish.
Dr. Lyu was caring, thorough, patient, and professional before, during, and after my extract and implant procedure. His office is delightful to deal with. I cannot imagine having a better experience for this most unpleasant but necessary procedure.
Dr.Lyu was very kind and I was very comfortable under his care. I felt that he was "connected" to me as his patient- as if he was truly paying attention to my questions instead of just thinking of the next patient.. I would highly recommend his services.
Dr. Lyu is not just an Oral Surgeon but an MD as well. I was impressed with his chairside manner and attention to detail. He listened to my many concerns and the front desk staff were also helpful when I called several times with additional questions. Day of surgery I was stressed but found the experience not so awful due to the caring attitude of the Doc and chairside assistant. I would have another implant done without worry. The office looks very clean and modern. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
Dr. Lyu was fantastic in accomodating me pushing back my surgery date. When I finally got my wisdom teeth pulled, he was professional and concerned about my well-being and did an excellent job. Before I left, he gave me his home cell number just in case I needed to call with a problem over the weekend. His staff was very kind and when I called back a few weeks later to have something looked at again, they squeezed me in with no extra charge. Would have probably been like any other dental office. But pricey and service was not all there. All staff was great except the front desk receptionist. The nurses or assistants were nice and helpful. Doctor knows what hes doing. Font desk service was terrible. She didn't even greet or acknowledge that we were there. We were on time and even a few minutes early. All she asked of us was money. I would have loved to give them a good overall review. Dr. Lyu performed my surgery and I was very satisfied with his treatment and follow-thru. The procedure was painless and I had very little post-surgery discomfort. He was responsive at all times during my treatment and I would highly recommend his services to all who might need oral surgery. As far as cost, considering the surgery I had, I feel Dr. Lyu charges a very fair fee for his services.
