RecommendedMy boyfriend and I came in yesterday for lunch and sat at the bar. The place was great, our waitress was very nice and attentive! I forgot her name but she gave good service! And the food was so good! I ordered the fried catfish on the lunch specials! It was exactly what I wanted, and good tasting. We also had fried pickles and queso. Both were good. One of the best restaurants in Abilene. Great service and atmosphere. Always bring our out of town guests here.
A lot of great steaks to enjoy throughout Texas. But this was, by far, the best pepper crusted - mesquite grilled ribeye I have ever enjoyed. And the mix of mesquite grilled veggies were the perfect complement. And top it off with service provided by true deep draw - deep rooted - boots and hats mid-Texas natives.
Lytle is the best. Freshly baked bread, amazing homemade blue cheese dressing, the best Ribeye in Abilene & the greatest baked to order skillet cookie you have ever had. definitely a must try. Add in family friendly & an amazing staff; it doesn't get better than this...
