I did feel a little rushed but the doctor respectfully answered all my questions.
I had my right hip replaced in 2021 and my left replaced in 2023 in May. Although it was a very scary prospect of having this kind of procedure done, Dr. Lyon, J. Houtakker, the staff from reception to nurses, the anesthesiologist, and the pre and post op staff at Mercy Walworth made the everything a little easier. Visited Dr. Lyon today for a knee problem. X-rays were taken and he informed be my knees were in good condition. To address the pain in the knees when going down stairs he gave me several options. I've seen him previously and was impressed with his thoroughness then and now. His personality is another plus, I'm very satisfied and he deserves the five start rating if not more. Thank you Dr. Lyons.
Dr. Lyon and Jeremy are both very professional and knowledgeable, besides being very professional. Had right knee done in June 2017 and then right hip in June 2019. Unfortunately I fell down, shortly after the operation and had to have the hip replacement re-done and also had several breaks in femur bone. Both times he was great and I am fully recovered, walking normal and best of all, NO PAIN. In my book he is great and we are very lucky to have him in Wisconsin and with Mercy Health. Top doctor.
Dr. Lyon was very dismissive and made me feel that I was wasting his time. He told me to go to Walmart and purchase a Knee brace.
Dr Lyon, with Jeremy, did both my knees (one year apart). I am in my 80’s, very active, and am very satisfied with results. Best Dr. I know, very caring, attentive, checked on me every day. After the first knee replacement and recovery I was not at all nervous about having second one done. Highest praise!
In October Dr. Lyon operated on my Achilles tendon, he did a fantastic job. He's very professional, takes time to answer your questions and explain them in in a way so you can understand. Excellent Doctor.
