This place is pitiful. I've lived here for almost 4 years and it gets worse every year. I could flood you with photos of all I've been through here, but what's the use? They don't take care, anyway. Still have issues from my first year here. The Area Maintenance Manager knows, but if I don't put in a work order now, my past issues are moot. It would take numerous work orders for everything to get fixed in my apartment. I moved into Axis on 6/28/2024 to my 'move-in ready' unit. I had no hot water in my unit from 6/28/24 until 7/12/2024. Two weeks with no hot water and having to either take cold showers or pay to take a shower elsewhere. Management is unresponsive and I have requested multiple times for contact info for upper management as things on the property level are not being handled correctly. Came to visit this property and the property manager Marvin is very lovely and professional and the property itself was very clean. I’ll definitely be moving in and would definitely refer anyone here!
I really loved this place when I first moved in, but going on 4 years later, 5 floods, not my fault, lost property and lost hope. The bugs are terrible, the maintenance staff,well, they can't keep or even get anyone good, for too long. The new manager is doing everything he can to rebuild this place, but I do not believe it's possible. The first manager that has some sense. And they concentrate on making the empty apartmentsto be in better conditions than they do for the people that have lived here for a while.
Axis at Rocket City has truly transformed under the new management! The improvements in maintenance and overall communication are outstanding. The staff is friendly, responsive, and genuinely cares about the residents. It’s a fantastic place to call home. Highly recommend!
