Dr. Esphahani is an excellent, caring, doctor. She performed a fluid extraction under my eye that had been bothering me for years. The results were wonderful. I highly recommend her. Robert Flax.

Last July while on vacation, I became seriously ill and rushed to Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. They did basic studies. I asked them to give me a stool, since my problem had strong stomach symptoms, and they said that it was not necessary. In the end they told me I had nothing and sent me home with no diagnosis or treatment, and a $4,000 bill. On July 20, 2023, I met Dr Prestera and received a comprehensive eye exam and consultation and was scheduled for surgery for both eyes on separate days that included enhanced vision implants. I experienced no pain and the procedure lasted less than 15 minutes for each eye. As I write this review on August 24th, I am seeing 20-20 in both eyes and as clear as I was at 20 years old! The Sharp Rees Stealey provider I've been going to for 13 years lectured me about my decision to not be vaccinated for Covid and documented the interaction in my chart. Later I went to another provider when I couldn't get an appointment with her. Apparently he read her documentation regarding my Covid vaccination refusal. He was dismissive of my physical complaint and reluctantly treated me then invited me to find another provider. I won't be returning to Sharp Healthcare.
They charged us over $1600 to do all the work. Everything that they did has all failed. The latest was the exhaust. Some of the things that they charged us for they didn't even fix. The day after they worked on the car, we took it out of town and it broke down. We had to have it towed to a garage to be fixed. The service work that they did there was on the same stuff that LCS fixed. My recommendation off of my experience is that I would not take a car to them. Good luck if you do.
Prior to getting ANY surgery from Chadha or any other provider, I recommend visiting www. Mbc.ca.gov. You will discover this is a surgeon who is ON PROBATION FOR NEGLECT AND being INCOMPETENT towards a patient. I RECOMMEND ANY PATIENT NEEDING urgent care at SHARP to review this Dr.s history on the website and come to an informed decision regarding their care after reading unbiased facts.
My first visit as an initial patient, I should've met the physician but instead I met a nurse practitioner. I sought the appointment for symptoms and I felt this person did not really listen. I was told I would not receive a call about my test results if nothing to be concerned. So….how do I get those test results to review? They were very curt, not eager to assist and unfriendly. Went to ER today over a sprained ankle around 1245pm. I called and asked ahead of time if it was busy and they refused to tell me. I show up and there are 5 nurses in triage and only one patient there sitting down waiting. I asked what the approximate wait time would be and a nurse named Mary immediately started yelling at me that if I didn't go sit down and wait that she would call security.
