I would not recommend Dr. Durrett. The appointment was an unnecessary stressful experience. I took off work and drove an hour and once I got to the appointment Dr. Durrett refused to see me because she said their policy was to fill out paperwork three days in advance, which I had not done. No one informed me of this policy or told me the appointment was canceled. I would suggest Piedmont OBGYN instead of Dr. Durrett, which is in the same location. Save yourself time and stress.
I have to start by saying I don’t usually write reviews…but Dr Durrett at Avant gynecology just doesn’t practice well… She’s very short with you and not patient at all. And she’s as quick out the door as she came in Giving last advice as if she can’t get the words out fast enough before hitting the door. She’s not very personable or nice. Now if you’re looking just for facts and not a great experience I’m sure she’s perfect! But I wouldn’t recommend her. Maybe someone else there..
