5C collets are hit and miss for fitting my CNC lathes. The key groove is always off. I told them and they said they didn't sell my collet to my distributor. I had to show them a receipt. Then they said if I send in the collet, they'll look at, if no errors found, they'll charge me a inspection fee. Hardinge fit every time.
