This shop is the best hair braiding salon in all of Southern California. As someone from the south I’ve traveled through LA/OC and SD to find the best salon & Aunty Lynda and her team have always gone above and beyond to make me & all their clients feel like family. Sister Carla is a miracle worker with her hands and always is able to pull off the exact look I ask for whether it’s single braids or cornrows. Went in looking for a specific type of braiding hair and it seemed they did not want to help me find what I was looking for. I just ended up leaving.
Terrible experience. Woman ripped out my hair. The whole staff is miserable and doesn’t want to be there. If anyone needs hair done please let me know and I’ll find you a way better place.
Terrible environment. Went to detangle my hair and the lady was quite literally ripping my hair out. Seems like they don’t want to be there so will do whatever they can do to speed up the process even if it hurts your hair. Can’t speak for braid installations or other services but if you’re doing anything with your natural hair do NOT go.
The old lady there is miserable. On top of that, that don’t know how to braid evenly, and once you ask them to redo a braid or two, that get these huge attitudes on them. There’s clumps of product in my hair; I posted a picture, that’s just two days after braiding. Terrible place. All that product isn’t necessary and makes your hair look nasty after a few days.
