The heat pump they installed had a huge gap between where the air circulated and where the furnace filter was. I complained over a couple of years about the amount of dirt coming through my vents. They suggested having vents cleaned again (wasted almost $1,000 on that). Only after another contractor came did I find out that the gap was the problem. Something any professional should have known.
