I couldn't be happier with my new valances for our media room. Jennifer and Meryluz did a fantastic job - from measuring and helping me pick fabric to their complete fabrication. It was a terrific experience working with them. And FAST! Looking forward to more projects with them!
We have been working with Jennifer at Lyn's Draperies for 4 years now. They have made curtains for our Seattle condo as well as blinds and drapes for our Skagit Valley house. All the custom work has been top notch. We also appreciate the design suggestions from Jennifer in selecting hardware and fabrics. The valance boxes in the bedroom windows came out especially wonderful. We recommend highly for design, fabrication, and friendly installation.
Lyn's Draperies, run locally by Jennifer, does beautiful work. At my house, she and her highly skilled seamstress, Meryluz, made a custom Roman shade that blocks out the light (a plus!) and was masculine enough for my standards while still being elegant. Jennifer is knowledgeable, timely, and honest. I highly recommend working with them!
She showed up at my moms house and she picked out what she wanted and then she never heard from her again… my sister called her and she said oh we are still doing it and then nothing… my mom paid her $250.00 for the initial appointment for consultation and she took that money and didn’t do anything…my parents are elderly and this is absolutely disgusting to take advantage of elderly people like that. When my sister called back she would answer the phone and not say anything… so we figured this is a scammer we honestly don’t ... read more
Terrible experience with Jennifer recently , my mother paid Jennifer 200 dollars to come over to see my mom’s windows and to pick out her windows coverings , Jennifer did not ever get back to my mother and when I called Jennifer weeks later to ask what is happening and if they are still going forward with the job or not , Jennifer says oh yes ofcourse we will be doing the job and she said she will call my mom tomorrow to let her know what’s going on thus far.
