She showed up at my moms house and she picked out what she wanted and then she never heard from her again… my sister called her and she said oh we are still doing it and then nothing… my mom paid her $250.00 for the initial appointment for consultation and she took that money and didn’t do anything…my parents are elderly and this is absolutely disgusting to take advantage of elderly people like that. Terrible experience with Jennifer recently , my mother paid Jennifer 200 dollars to come over to see my mom’s windows and to pick out her windows coverings , Jennifer did not ever get back to my mother and when I called Jennifer weeks later to ask what is happening and if they are still going forward with the job or not , Jennifer says oh yes ofcourse we will be doing the job and she said she will call my mom tomorrow to let her know what’s going on thus far. We were delighted with the beautiful widow treatment we commissioned from Jennifer at Lyn’s Draperies. A large bay window in our living room needed an update to replace a treatment that was created by the founding owner, Lyn, when we moved into our house over 15 years ago. Jennifer came over to our house to view the room and gave us a precise estimate. She listened carefully and consulted with us on style, fabric, and trim. This review should have been made 4 or 5 years ago, but I have been so annoyed I couldn't even bring myself to think about it. I get furious every time I have to open or close this roman blind Lyn's Draperies made for us. It was the second Roman blind we ordered from Lyn's. We loved the first one, and still do. Lyn made that for us, and then sold the business prior to our ordering the second blind. The new owner completely changed the design on us.
