Like other reviewers, I have very much appreciated the therapist we worked with. The administrative part has been problematic. It is very difficult to communicate with the insurance/billing staff, and their follow-through seems poor. I sought a therapist for my other daughter and was required to fill out lots of forms/paperwork, some of it rather personal and detailed, only to be told they have no availability. Disrespectful of my time, frustrating.
I was told during an intake that "I'm not that special". I teach my kids we're all special as we're children of the most highest. Heather mcloud was also very rude. Sucks as a veteran we're referred to these places...
I was harassed, coerced and extorted by their billing department. I had to do a chargeback on my credit card as they fraudulently charged my card. When confronted, they blew me off. This happened a month ago and I am still debating consulting a lawyer for the duress this organization has caused. I am fairly confident their billing practices are illegal. If you can avoid this place, do it.
I have been with LynLake for a while after some extreme hardships and I cannot put into words the professional support and care I felt from the provider Veronica in navigating these challenges. She assisted me to regain confidence, trust myself, and get to a point where I feel like "me" again. Five stars isn't enough to represent her ability to help me find my inner strength and get back to living. Thank you LynLake.
My rating is on this organization, rather than my provider. My therapist is fabulous - and I am extremely grateful she's moved to work at a different practice. LynLake incorrectly billed several of our appointments under a provider I have never seen (and is out-of-network) and has, thusfar, failed to remedy this after multiple months. They overcharged my account and have still not refunded me for the overbilling - in fact, it appears they have been adding interest to the inaccurate patient balance.
