I had a wonderful experience today and felt compelled to share. I ran into a bit of a snag with a membership, but the owners stepped in and handled it personally. I was so impressed by how kind and professional he was. He resolved the issue incredibly quickly, making what could have been a headache a total breeze. It’s clear that he truly cares about his customers and the community. Our town is lucky to have him and this business! It’s great to see an owner who is so hands-on and dedicated to great service.
Lyceum Fitness is a great gym with an awesome vibe. It’s family-owned, and the atmosphere feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. The front desk girl is cute and bubbly, which honestly makes the gym more fun. The design is super unique — marble columns and a Greek theme that makes you feel like you’re working out in the Pantheon. They told me that the name of the gym “Lyceum” comes from Latin and means a place of exercise, sports and learning. Which fits perfectl. Lyceum is one of the BEST gyms in manahawkin! So clean and such awesome equipment! I got my boyfriend to join last year and now even his sister. We love it! ◡̈
If I could give 0 stars I would. I left the area and requested to cancel my membership as I am now working on the other side of the state, provided ample proof of moving locations; including legal paystubs, and still got my cancellation request denied. If you want a dishonest, unprofessional gym membership, who will do anything to take your money: look no further. I wish I had done my research prior to joining this horrible establishment. Steer clear.
Gym is a calm place and great to get a workout in. the staff and all the members are friendly and awesome to get along with.
