I am very appreciative to Dr. Ly. She did such a good job of prescribing my gas permeable lenses in spite of my very far sightedness. I can read without glasses and see at a distance too. Recently a relative asked me "how" could I read without the reading glasses i had used for so long. Also I appreciate the staff who along with the doctor got an emergency lens to me in Pennsylvania in 2 days!
I have been a patient for 8+ years & have never had any issues. . until now. The last visit I was talked into progressive lenses that I can't use. My insurance allowance was maxed out so I am SOL. I left three voicemails asking for help with resolving this and not one call was returned. The fourth time I called I was told to come in again to get another pair of glasses that I would have to pay for. I won't return and have told anyone who I referred there not to go back.
I wanted to change from my gas permeable contacts to soft lenses. After many visits & trial soft contacts, she was incapable of correcting my vision with ALL the soft contacts she provided as trials. I was told I’d need to wear glasses over my contacts! She devoured all my annual insurance funds- & billed additional $90, even after I informed her in writing that I was very disappointed. A Walmart Doctor fitted me with soft contacts in a single visit-I can now see clearly both near & far.
Her office was able to get both my husband & I in for appointments the week that I called. Her staff was very clear & helpful & Dr. Ly herself was very helpful & made me feel very relaxed (even though doctor's appointments make me anxious). I am so very pleased to have found this gem of an eye clinic.
