TACKY. When I called, I was placed on hold for more than 5 minutes then the phone disconnected. I called back & the same thing occurred. I called again, then I was transferred to the department I needed & was placed on hold again, & the call was disconnected again. This episode happened several times. The doctor didn't address my issues he just ordered (in my opinion) medically unnecessary X-rays because I had already taken X-rays in another facility that he had viewed through my electronic health record. I accompanied my mother (an elderly 70-year-old patient with extensive cardiac illness to her scheduled doctor's appointment with Dr. David Terpstra at LVPG Orthodepeidc and Sports Medicine following a traumatic fall she sustained one week ago. She was referred for an orthopedic evaluation due to severe pain 10/10. Upon arriving for her scheduled 1pm appointment. she was promptly checked in and escorted to the patient examination room. Same complaint as the rest that had the issue with the foot/ankle specialist. Argumentative, condescending, and doesn’t really help. My son leg is twisted inward at the ankle I wanted to at least get a brace put on like my oldest who had the same issue. What he said shocked me and got the anger going. A brace is never ever going to correct that issue he will either grow out of or learn a different way to walk. So painful walking and more hospital visits is what this doctor is aiming at.
