I actually have been coming here for no good reason other than the convenience of location. truthfully they are using sub par product, They over charge quite often with no explanation, and then if you say anything no one understands english. I hope they get shut down for stealing peoples hard earned money. Don't go here if you don't want constant breakage after only a couple of days, Don't go here unless you just want to waste your money like I've been doing. I won't be back!

I've gone here so many times and have had a moderate to great experience. I went today for a manicure and was so upset. The basic manicure, which I asked for is $13. I know gel/shellac is $5 more, but was charged $25, with no explanation. The technician didn't talk to me the entire time, I was not offered ANYTHING to drink (and I am HEAVILY pregnant), and for that price, I would've expected a hand massage or something with a smile. I have gone to Luxy nails twice a month for the past year. Although it was never great, it is around the corner from where I live. I went today for a mani/pedi. Sam took care of my nails, but was unable to do my pedi as she had another appt. The woman I had did not speak much English. She cut the side of my toe with the cuticle clippers, ouch in any language can be understood!!!! She acted like nothing happened, even though I was bleeding onto the towel! I found this salon by reading reviews so I thought I should leave a review! I went in on a Friday with one of my girls, and boy was this place busy! Great atmosphere! I asked for Dana, since a lot of the reviews I have read have been on her. I had to wait 40 minutes, as was expected because they were so busy! Must agree that I had a great nail experience at Luxy. my girlfriend and I went to luxy for pedis, I got a full set and Linda got gel.. both american girls took care of us. I had Dana...and I must say, (not that I didnt think she knew what she was doing, ive just never had an american take care of me, its always been Asians ) but she gave me the best pedicure Ive ever had. BEST NAIL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Naiomi (the American female) did an AMAZING job on my shellac manicure and spa pedicure (which was only 22$!) she took her time and made every detail perfect. The massage was fabulous and she had wonderful ideas as to what I should choose for my nails. I wish I could take her back home to Tennessee with me!!!

I have had my nails done by several places but this was the worst I've ever had. If I could only post a photo. The entire time my husband and I were in there this little 18 year girl who has 0 training on how to do nails did mine. She also talked our heads off about how we were wrong about anything regardless the subject that she would bring up; I could handle that though. Last week I went to Luxy for a pedicure and gel polish, as said below certain nail techs are better than others, but this was terrible. I think it was "Naomi" that took care of me, the salon over all was nice and clean, but I question my nail tech. Dressed completely unprofessional, was loud and talked to me for over an hour about how she is attempting to lose weight to join the army. I had no chance to sit back and relax. I have been out of work for a long time. Husband bought a spa experience for me making sure the massage was the most important. They didn't listen, the spa was packed, I was just a number! Will never go there again!! Christmas present wasted and hubby embarrassed.
