When we first arrived, we were so excited for the experience and we thought the staff was friendly and helpful. Riding on the skis was a pretty nice experience though mine didn’t go past 40 mph and my friends didn’t go past 32mph, something we uncovered when we got back and were talking about it. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation, but no one was there. We waited for over an hour and were repeatedly told that they were open, which was confusing since there was no one available to assist us. When we finally received assistance, the gentleman helping us came across as rude and wasn’t very welcoming. While the jet ski itself worked fine and was fun the customer service was atrocious. My boyfriend and I happened to be waiting with another group of three. While we were all gather around the jet ski rental stand a local lady approached us and asked if we were waiting to go out for our ride. We let her know we were and she told us “he’ll be here he’s always late there is always a group of people waiting for them” so we waited another 15 minutes. I don't normally leave reviews, but this is worth warning others about. We rented two jet skis. One worked perfectly; the other was capped at 5 mph the entire time, even well outside the no-wake zone where it should've run at full speed. Within 10 minutes we noticed we were taking on water and couldn't drain it without speed — a real safety issue.
