Drove an hour and a half for the haircut. Started off great with conversation however he ended up cutting me just beneath my nose and stated that he’s never done it the way he did it before and it was his first time. Don’t necessarily like being a test subject with a straight razor on my face. Second I paid with tap to pay and while I stated I was visiting from Maine and the barber has shared that he will be going to Maine soon himself, a week later I start getting charges to my card for a hotel in Portland Maine. Markee is easily one of the best barbers in Jax. It’s obvious he’s committed to his craft, takes ownership of his work, and holds himself to a high standard. The results reflect that. Highly recommended.
