I visited Luxebar yesterday for my bridal hair and makeup trial, I'll be going back for my wedding hair and makeup in a couple weeks. Chelsey was so attentive and really listened to what I was saying, and my hair and makeup came out AMAZING. The makeup was still flawless when I (sadly) had to take it off before bed at 11pm, and my hair stayed secure all day. I can't wait for Chelsey to do my hair & makeup for my wedding!
I love this place. Let's start with the practical: They have some of the best wax I've ever been waxed with. My super pale skin burns at the drop of a hat and turns bright red if it even gets touched, but I go here with confidence knowing it won't be super painful, the redness will fade within a couple hours, and all of their waxers are super skilled. Awful gel manicure and super overpriced!!! Blow out was decent.
The first time I went to Mane and Mani at Market Street in Lynnefield my stylist was great. My hair looked amazing and I got many compliments. It looked fabulous for 5 days. Healthy and gorgeous. I decided to go back and have it washed and styled again. I asked for the same stylist but she wasn't here that day. I had a different girl. She ruined my hair. She was so harsh when drying my hair - she broke off the ends of my hair when trying to twist it into a curl. I didn't recognize this until later that night. I should have s... read more
Make up application was okay. Poor quality, didn't last... My eyes were the best part, but eyebrows uneven... My hair is what ruined it. My blow out and curls did not last more than 45 minutes from walking out the door. It was a very special occasion for me and I booked this appointment to feel pampered and fresh ALL day, knowing I'd be tight with time I was really relying on perfection and long lasting wear. I was completely let down. I can't even explain how upset I was. Never AGAIN!
Wonderful Staff. Friendly. Haven't got hair done yet. Looking forward to it !!! Spray tanning is awesome
