negative comments are all wrong I admit that I have not gone to Luxaderm for facials, as my skin is very sensitive. But I have gone there for manicures, pedicures, and massages. Everyone there has been wonderful and professional, and I have always gotten superior treatment. In addition, I am a patient of the dermatologist at his private practice and he has done wonders with my skin!!!
AWFUL This was a terrible experience. Prices quoted for the service rendered varied and resulted in haggling. Staff was curt. A general disaster. I will never return. I'm still washing (days later) gunk off that was left from a terrible facial.
Don't bother! I had permanent brows done the beginning of the year by Rita at Luxaderm. The first time the ink barely took and she blamed it on me as if I picked and rubbed the color off. I had a second visit and after another 2 or so hours I still didn't have complete brows. They were lopsided and the ends were faded. Rita said she was waiting on some new equipment to arrive that would work better than the "outdated" equipment she had used on me the other times. luxaderm is great that last review was all wrong. The girls who work at luxaderm are very helpful. I think dr walker has a full time practice at mount carmel, and he only does cosmetic procedures at luxaderm, that is why he is only there three days a week. Luxaderm also does waxing, facials, massages, chemical peels, and nails. I had my brows done by Sarah, and she was awesome! I have never had someone care more about my brows. I have recommended her to family and friends.
Really disappointed! The people there are really inexperienced and all they want to do is sell things whether I need it or not. Supposedly there is a doctor there, but he comes in only one or twice a month and so it's the cosmetologists that sell the laser treatments, which is really scary since most of them don't seem to know much about the lasers. Also, they are using lasers that they rent for 1 or 2 days month that aren't even up to date. It's such a beautiful facility and it's close to where I live but it's sad that it's... read more
